I am an assistant professor in the Writing Studies Department at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where I conduct research and teach courses within rhetorical studies of health and medicine and technical communication.
My research examines the rhetorical challenges and negotiations that emerge in health and medicine contexts ranging from chronic illness to pharmaceuticals.
